Tokhteet Lebanon: Arabic Typeface rejecting erasure
A heavily manual exercise of documenting Lebanon through hand-traced satellite images, engraving its topography, political geography, sectarianism, urbanism, its valleys and lakes, its ridges and highways.
Each letter corresponding to a village or city, distributed equitably across all nine governorates with deep consideration for sect, faith, ethnicity, geographical spacing, refugee communities, historical importance, resistance importance, and erasure importance.
The pangram was created by Dr. Samar Asso, an Arabic language expert, a pedagogue, a poet, a writer, a friend.
Intended for public use as a permanent public document.

AI Can’t Find Me Here
A sensory book (zine) reminiscent of childhood sensory books that I loved. In the age of artificial intelligence and optimization and productivity and mental overwhelm and digital noise, I look to found objects and create with my hands.

Baba and the Stuff
In this series I explored the mental static of loss, of how time and our grieving brain drape certain memories with “stuff”, distorting, erasing, amplifying. Memory here becomes a way to shape what remains, or what I’d like to remain.
